About Me

Currently I teach at Huntsville Intermediate School in Huntsville, TX as a 6th grade, World Cultures teacher. After graduating from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelors of Business Administration I found my career here in Huntsville through our local Region center.  Throughout the course of working in HISD I've met some lifelong mentors. I'm fortunate to have a support system who continues to share their best practices and had led me thru their example. I strive to keep learning and take pride in proper professional development. There is something to be said when leaders take time to model and implement best practices. I'm currently one to one in my classroom and push to keep technology a priority. I love learning new platforms and value the idea of allowing students to work in a creative environment which allows my students to take pride in their work and ownership of learning.
